To All ‪#‎Realtors‬:BE ON THE ALERT, cautious and observant! Yesterday, in the late afternoon I pulled up to a home that is listed for sale and states vacant ho...me in the MLS. I was alone in my car and noticed the outside door was open. I then noticed a man, perhaps in his 20's with red hair, no shirt or shoes going in and out.
I stayed in my car, rolled down the window and yelled out to him, what are you doing? He approached my car and told me he bought the home. I could tell by just looking at him, he was on drugs. I replied to him that the home was not sold, rolled up my window and dialed 911. He walked back to the property where my view was blocked. The dispatcher asked me for full description and told me help on the way. The ‪#‎TavaresPolice‬ Department arrived within 5 minutes. I got out of my car and pointed to the direction of suspect.
With weapons drawn they approached area and handcuffed suspect within moments. There were 4 #TavaresPolice officers and all recognized this individual from prior arrests. They also told me he has a very serious drug problem. After the chills subsided, I began to fully realize what our law enforcement deals with daily.
